![]() I love it! I layered some blue under the gold letters to make them stand out. ![]() I haven’t missed one since 2000.īig Numbers: The rest of the page is quite simple, so I experimented with BIG BIG numbers. The Story: The annual rivalry football game between Cal and Stanford is called The Big Game and it has been played for over 100 years. Patterned Paper: I rarely, if ever, include patterned paper in sports layouts. If you have questions about how to trace sports logos, let me know! Again, not making it available for download because it’s not my intellectual property to give away. Team Logo: I traced and cut this out with my Silhouette. However, this time, I included one of our Fanfest tickets and it worked really well with the design (after I cut off the sponsor messages and whatever other fine print they manage to fill an 8.5×11″ page with). Printed Ticket: I’ve gone on record before about being sad that we print more tickets at home because I rarely put them in my scrapbook. The ballpark was five years old at the time and it was a big deal to host the game. We didn’t actually go to the game, but we participated in some of the activities. ![]() The Story: San Francisco hosted the MLB All-Star game in 2007. I’m really glad I saved everything from this event so we can show our kids later.įonts: Futura Bk, Segoe UI Light | Supplies: Pioneer SJ-100 Jumbo Scrapbook(scrapbook & pages) | Ephemera Included: program, newspaper articles. He was such an instrumental person in my husband’s life and his loss was really hard. I talked with him about his history with Coach before I wrote the captions.īy the time I made this page, Coach had passed away. P’s family saving newspapers and the program. I couldn’t go to the event and relied on Mr. On not being present: This is one of the few events I’ve scrapbooked where I wasn’t actually there. P and other fellow alumni played each other in the new pool with Coach refereeing.ĭates on newspapers: I always jot down the date on newspaper pieces I save. The pool was named for his water polo coach who introduced the sport to the area and coached at the school for decades. ![]() He played water polo and swam all throughout high school. P attended the dedication ceremony for the new pool at his high school. I do have "make it acid free" spray but I don't trust it completely. The Story: Mr. This sound complicated but it is surprisingly fast to do. When it comes to the scrapping memorabilia, I either make a direct printout on photo paper or I scan the original and print it out on photopaper, or because I am really lazy I send the original out to be professionally scanned, get an acid free printout of the page, and then go back to the original and switch out the orginal articles with the acid free printouts. This works great for those 3 or 4 page articles. And if the person is really interested they will read the articles. Then if the person looking at the album is a picture person they can just flip to the pictures. I also do what BMRLinda suggested.make 8 1/2 x 11 pages of just the articles and add those to the album. I try to incorporate the articles into the pages with a few photos or stickers. I have numerous pages with articles in my cycling albums.
